This is the MacFarlene Church in the memory of William MacFarlene. Built after the coming of Scottish missionaries in Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills, this church was completed in the year 1890-91.
The sermons were in 10 different languages for the spread of Christianity , however, today it is only in Nepali.The design of this church came from Scotland though the workers were locals.
